This two day, limited enrollment, communications course is an opportunity to re-sharpen the skills that were acquired in the Excellence in Speaking class, while exploring new topics. We’ll examine the art of listening with an emphasis on putting listening skills into practice. Many conversations and presentations occur without the benefit of rehearsal; this class you will have you thinking on your feet and handling the most difficult questions with ease and confidence.

Being able to communicate your worth and persuade clients and colleagues is one of the most sought after traits in the business world.  In this course, you will create and master your own relevant story for those rare unplanned opportunities that could change the course of your career.  Prior to the course, a faculty member will schedule a conference call to discuss your personal relevant story.  You will develop and master your story throughout the two-day class until you are able to easily insert it into a conversation. 

You will have the added benefit of videotaping your presentations to reveal your own personal, authentic style.  Becoming comfortable with your style and mastering your story will allow you to move an audience out of a state of contemplation and into a state of action.  The goal of an effective communicator is to make a meaningful contribution to an audience.  Excellence in Speaking Advanced will help you achieve that goal.
