Regional executives with Apple Computer and Aetna Insurance needed to increase their ability to form lasting relationships with internal customers, current and prospective clients and the community.

Each organization reasoned correctly that the more effectively their individual members communicated, the more professionally their organizations would function. Greater success within the organization would lead to growth.

Broadcast Hall of Famer and professional speaker Ty Boyd was asked to help these companies. That was 1980. And so, the first session of ESI began. Little did anyone know this model would improve the lives of so many. Today, the Excellence In Speaking Institute® has graduates from every state and province in North America.
